Emergency lockout

If you are locked out then Linacre Locksmiths endeavour to get you in without any destruction of the lock. We use a variety of picking/bypass methods to get locks and doors open, although very rarely we come across high security locks which cannot be defeated by these means. We would then have to drill the lock to open. But we carry large stock on the van so will not leave you insecure as we can replace the locks and provide new keys. 

Security locks

All locks can be fresh fitted or replaced to whatever standard suits your budget. Insurance companies usually specify mortice locks be BS3621 rated, and Upvc cylinders to be at least 1 star BS rated. But you can decide what you need. 

Key Safes Fitted

We can also supply and fit key safes to external walls - ideal for people with carers for example who need regular access. We fit the Supra (GE) C500 as standard as it meets police and insurance approvals. Other key safes can of course be installed by us depending on your budget. 

Other Security Solutions

We can fit other security devices and locks, such as digital locks, rack bolts, keysafes, chains and deadbolts and nightlatches (yale type). 

Lock Changes / Rekeying

Most locks can be replaced especially if just moving house, or renewing tenants etc. Some mortice locks can be rekeyed depending on age and wear and tear etc.  

Safes

Small safes can be opened. 

Lock upgrades

Check your home contents insurance policy - does it state that you must have BS 3621 (British Standard) locks fitted to all final exit doors, or locks with at least 5 levers, and window locks (with removable keys) on all windows? If the small print states you must have 'approved locks', do you know exactly what they mean? Call them and find out - chances are that you are not insured if you do not have the level of security they require.
